From the return of the capital’s most renowned party – ‘Ritual’ to the venue’s golden Christmas celebrations, the waterfront venue is pulling out all the stops to create unforgettable memories this festive season.
RITUALS RETURN TO COYA
The moment the capital’s socialites have been waiting for is finally here: Ritual is back at COYA Abu Dhabi. The popular monthly party is bursting back into action in a spectacular fashion. Presenting the most decadent and upbeat event in the city’s nightlife scene, guests can expect an evening of mingling, dancing, good food and plenty of pisco.
A vibrant and tantalising gathering for party people and music lovers, Ritual is inspired by the rich and fascinating culture of the Aztecs and Incas. Fusing the energies of traditional practice and contemporary taste in the stunning Pisco Bar, the upcoming Ritual party will feature beats by COYA resident DJ Eva Voytko. Innovatively crafted Peruvian bites and refreshing signature beverages, including the brand’s famous Pisco Sour cocktails will fuel a night of dancing.
Packed with excitement and unforgettable moments, the Aztec-inspired Ritual night will transport guests away from Abu Dhabi and into a magical alternative world. Presenting an uplifting night filled with Latin American inspired tribal beats, Eva will get the whole place moving with her uplifting mixes of South American tracks and melodic techno.
Ritual will return to COYA Abu Dhabi on Wednesday, December 8, from 10pm until late. Minimum spends are AED 1,000 for two hours on the high tables, AED 3,500 from 9.30pm onwards on the sofas, AED 1,000 for tables of two on the terrace and AED 2,000 for tables of three on the terrace. Dates for the Ritual Party in 2022 will be announced soon.

FORMULA 1 SPECIAL DISHES
With the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2021 ready to roar into town on December 9th, COYA Abu Dhabi embraces the most adrenaline-fuelled weekend of the year with a variety of special F1-dishes. Get ready for the final race of the season whilst you soak up COYA Abu Dhabi’s vibrant atmosphere and enjoy a choice of mouth-watering main courses.
The exquisite selection includes roast chicken with rosemary, Amarillo chilli cream and capers, or slow-cooked beef ribs with ginger, garlic vinaigrette and Dijon mustard mayonnaise. Both dishes are served with colourful and wholesome Peruvian sides, such as roasted brussels sprouts with soy butter, baked cauliflower with Manchego cheese, and potato and beetroot salad. Guests of the venue can now dine outside on the iconic terrace as it has opened for the season. The sparkling waters of Al Maryah Island, makes COYA Abu Dhabi the most amazing place to absorb and appreciate the cool winter weather.

A GOLDEN CHRISTMAS
Once the excitement of race weekend is over, the capital is invited to dive straight into the festive parties with a Peruvian-style Christmas menu at COYA Abu Dhabi. And in honour of the global Christmas theme, ‘Dreaming of a gold Christmas,’ the artistic and beautifully designed restaurant will be decked out in an explosion of magical gold decorations – enough to get anyone in the Christmas spirit.
The calendar of festivities are unveiled just in time to relish the blissful al fresco dining experience as the venue has opened its iconic terrace.
The warming winter dishes of roast chicken and slow-cooked beef ribs will continue to be served with a sprinkle of festive cheer. Creating a magical setting that invites families, friends and colleagues to immerse themselves in festivities, the home-cooked specialities are presented with a choice of delicious sides, including roasted sprouts and baked cauliflower and cheese.
And if that isn’t festive enough, guests can enjoy the showstopping Christmas Eve brunch. An experience filled with lively vibes and plenty of Christmas cheer, guests can feast upon a superb selection of fresh salads, ceviches and maki rolls, plus tasty light bites such as Chef Pang’s selection of grilled skewers, Chilean sea bass croquettes and beef rib empanadas.
To follow these delicious appetisers, guests will take their pick from a choice of enchanting mains. The specially curated menu features beef ribs, corn-fed baby chicken, Chilean sea bass rice pot, miso salmon and vegetarian quinoa with ricotta cheese and pumpkin iron pot.
Served straight to the table by the warm and charming staff, this festive brunch ends with indulgent orange and lime churros with milk chocolate and dulce de leche sauce, Peruvian cookies with dulce de leche, chicha morada with orange shortbread and last but not least, caramel ganache with fresh berries and candied orange – a favourite amongst sweet-toothed guests.
The exclusive Christmas dishes are available daily from December 12th to 24th, priced AED 248 for the roast chicken and AED 348 for the slow-cooked beef ribs. The Christmas Eve Friday Brunch runs from 12:30 pm to 4 pm on December 24th, priced at AED 278 for soft drinks, AED 398 for house beverages and AED 578 for premium beverages.
FIN DE SEMANA: CHRISTMAS DAY EDITION
COYA Abu Dhabi’s sensational Fin De Semana has been enhanced with a golden touch just for Christmas Day.
Offering a two-hour, four course experience, guests are invited to relish in COYA’s signature ambiance, mouth-watering dishes and unbeatable views.
The merry affair kicks off with a choice of two appetisers from a tempting selection of nibbles, including salmon tacos, cucumber and apple salad, mixed seafood ceviche, wild mushroom ceviche, kale salad, corn salad, wagyu beef baos, tuna maki rolls, chicken skewers and more.
Meanwhile, guests can sample true Peruvian excellence through the choice of COYA Abu Dhabi signature main courses. Guests are invited to choose one dish from a choice of slow-cooked beef ribs, grilled corn-fed baby chicken, salmon with miso or crispy potatoes with spicy tomatoes. Or, if diners fancy staying true to the theme and really going large for the weekend, they can also opt to enhance their dining experience with the Peruvian potato and mushroom, Chilean sea bass rice, and spicy beef fillet for an extra cost of AED 50.
Finally, as the festive journey comes to a close, diners can finish their evening on a sweet note by choosing between the divinely decadent chocolate fondant, chicha morada and churros platter.
The Fin De Semana: Christmas Edition takes place on Saturday, December 25 from 12:30pm to 3:30pm, priced AED 199 for food, and AED 169 for the beverage package (per person).
CELEBRATE THE NEW YEAR IN STYLE
Promising to end the year with a bang, the connoisseurs of the Peruvian party won’t hold back this New Year’s Eve. Welcome 2022 in style at COYA Abu Dhabi as they host the most extravagant and exciting New Year’s Eve party in the capital, but this year’s celebration comes with a unique twist. The Incan Empire theme will immerse guests into the vibrant energy of Latin America as they dance under the stars in this party of a lifetime.
Enticing guests into this mysterious realm, the party will feature atmospheric beats from COYA Music DJ Eva Voytko, a tasting menu of authentic Latin American bites, and Incan-inspired cocktail creations. Guests can immerse themselves in this chic experience, transporting them away from the capital.
Then, when the clock starts to approach midnight, partygoers are invited to raise a glass as the sky above Al Maryah Island becomes illuminated with a spectacular fireworks display. Providing the perfect conclusion to the year, guests are encouraged to don their chicest black and gold outfits and see in 2022 with a night of theatrics and fun at the trendiest nightspot in the city.
The Incan Empire New Year’s Eve Party will take place on Friday, December 31st.
