COYA Abu Dhabi, the capital’s favourite Peruvian hotspot, is furthering its dedication to fantastic food and good times by launching a new weekend dining experience. The Fin de Semana (weekend) celebrations will be bursting into life every Friday and Saturday from 12:30pm to 3:30pm, starting from April 10.
Offering a three-hour, four course experience that leads you right through from the sun-soaked afternoon to the golden hours of the early evening, guests are invited to mark the weekend in style with COYA’s signature ambiance, mouth-watering dishes and unbeatable ambiance.
Offering the ultimate weekend indulgence, the specially curated Fin de Semana menu stars some of the iconic venue’s most popular dishes, plus some new flavour combinations, too.
Kicking off the party is a choice of soups; the crema de calabaza offers a comforting mix of cream of pumpkin, manchego cheese, corn powder and chives, while the vibrant sopa de tomate y aji rocoto is packed with juicy vine tomatoes, aji rocoto and flavoured with delicate herb oil.
Next, the merry affair continues with a choice of two appetisers from a tempting selection of light bites including ceviche hongos, ceviche mixto, tacos de salmon, maki roll de atun, picante de pepino, kale y manchego, trio de maiz, yucas frita, baos de res, anticuchos de setas and anticuchos de pollo.
Meanwhile, guests can sample true Peruvian excellence through the choice of COYA Abu Dhabi trademark main courses. Guests are invited to choose one dish from a choice of costillas de res beef ribs, pollo a la parrilla, salmon a la brasa, and patatas bravas. Or, if diners fancy staying true to the theme and going really large for the weekend, they can also opt to try the premium plates papa seca, arroz nikkei Chilean sea bass, and lomo de res spicy for an extra cost of AED 50.
Finally, as the journey comes to a close, diners can start their evening on a sweet note with the divinely decadent chocolate fundido, chicha morada and churros de naranja desserts.
But the fun doesn’t stop there, complimenting this feast for the senses are some superb crafty creations from COYA’s skilled bartenders. Helping friends and families to get in the mood for the weekend are refreshing concoctions such as Aperol Spritz, Tommy’s Margarita, Whisky Sour, Peach Chilcano, Nitrotini and Moscow Mule. All are available for AED 40 each alongside a selection of hops and grapes.
