Zambar Coastal Kitchen, the popular Indian restaurant located in Bawabat Al Sharq Mall, has launched a fabulous Diwali menu available from 12-21 November 2020.
Celebrate the festival of lights with friends and family and eat the traditional way with “thalis”, round platters made up of a selection of the restaurant’s signature dishes from a menu that celebrates the spices, ingredients, cooking methods and flavors found in this region.
For the meat-lovers, you can’t go wrong with Zambar’s four-course non-vegetarian thali for only AED 79. As a first course, choose from the flavorful mint and coriander chicken, hearty nilgiri mutton korma or the spicy lucknowi dum fish curry. Classic tikkas make up course two, while course 3 is your choice of dal or vegetables followed by a traditional dessert.
The vegetarian thali at AED 69 is equally exciting with four courses and a variety of choices including Zambar favorites such as paneer makhani, dal makhana, home-style cauliflower and aloo koliwada.
Each thali also includes naan bread, rice, pickle, chutney, a signature dessert as a well as a bowl of payasam (traditional rice pudding).
This limited-edition Diwali menu can be enjoyed in the beautiful houseboat-esque setting of Zambar, where the attention to detail with the wooden furniture, traditional lighting and artwork makes for a truly authentic dining experience.
