EQUINOX PARTY ‘SPRINGS’ INTO ACTION AS COYA ABU DHABI CELEBRATES THE ARRIVAL OF THE NEW SEASON

With Winter on its way out, COYA Abu Dhabi is getting ready for a new season, with a massive party to celebrate the arrival of Spring, on Friday 27th March 2020.  During the Spring season, Equinox occurs, where day and night are of equal length and is a representation of rebirth, spiritual awakening and vitality.

Crystals can be used to mark this time, as they help with clearing bad energy and promote new beginnings and with this in mind, COYA Abu Dhabi will be incorporating various crystals in different areas of the venue.

On arrival, guests can expect crystal themed, shiny and reflective décor complemented by the opulent vibrant colours in the venue.  Of course, it wouldn’t be a COYA party without special performances – this time of the cleansing kind – and live music, including a saxophonist and percussionist alongside COYA’s resident DJs.

Guests dressed in the most elaborate Boho chic style can also look out for a few surprises to complement their outfits during the event and classic Peruvian beverages created by the highly skilled bar team will be on offer, as guests dance the night away to the up-tempo beats in a fun and vibrant atmosphere.

Those who would like the option to experience Equinox with dinner, can enjoy Peruvian dishes from the a la carte menu, as the restaurant will also be decorated in the same theme, enabling them to be part of Abu Dhabi’s biggest Spring party too.

WINE-DOWN EVERY MONDAY AT COYA ABU DHABI

COYA Abu Dhabi is well known for their inventive beverages, including some of the best cocktails in the city.  But for those who appreciate the finest grape beverages, the venue hosts Sommelier Mondays where it showcases the Peruvian restaurant’s commitment to exceptional wine and culinary experiences.

Every Monday night, COYA Abu Dhabi invites grape enthusiasts and novices to channel their inner sommeliers.  From 6pm guests can enjoy a crisp 50% off a selection of premium wines, each of which can be savoured as a solo treat or paired with the tasting experience of the Degustation menu priced at AED510 per person, which will include dishes such as Pargo a la Trufa (Red Snapper, truffle, ponzu and chives), Boas con Res Wagyu (Wagyu short rib, mantou boas, aji amarillo) and Chicha Morada (Peruvian, corn colada, passion fruit and sesame seeds).

Perfect for business meetings, a night out with friends or a celebratory meal for two, Sommelier Mondays has everything you need for start of the week events, coupled with a colourful venue and a relaxed vibe, whilst taking in views over the water at Al Maryah Island.
