MAZI – Launches on October 1
MAZI, which means ‘together’ in Greek, is set to offer a memorable dining experience to its patrons thanks to a wide selection of unique and exquisite cuisine from Greece and its vibrant atmosphere.
Having opened its first branch in Notting Hill, in the west of London in 2012, MAZI is no ordinary Greek restaurant. With the vision of owners – dynamic husband and wife team Adrien Carré and Christina Mouratoglou – it rapidly became a popular restaurant by interpreting old-time classic recipes with a modern twist and sharing dishes.
Located at The St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort, Abu Dhabi, the newest and first branch of MAZI to launch outside of London invites guests to enjoy a menu consisting of some bestsellers from home as well as a range of unique dishes that reflect the culinary culture of Greece.
Christina and Adrien introduce authentic Greek flavors with their own innovative twist, while placing emphasis on sharing a feast of a variety of dishes. They use recipes that rely on classic techniques and contemporary presentation to achieve the best results in addition to the use of the finest, fresh ingredients – some sourced directly from Greece.
The main objective of MAZI is to connect people who are united in their passion for fresh and tasty food. An exciting new menu has been created for the Abu Dhabi restaurant, breathing new life, color and flavor into the worn stereotypes of Greek cuisine. It is the concept of sharing fun moments together with friends and family in a casual and contemporary setting that will make each visit even more memorable.
Buddha-Bar Beach Abu Dhabi
The first permanent location from the award-winning Buddha-Bar concept, Buddha-Bar Beach Abu Dhabi also has nightly entertainment six days a week with a resident DJ, percussionist, saxophonist and violinist.

Sontaya, meaning sunset in Thai, is the award-winning Asian restaurant at The St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort, set amongst a series of floating pavilions that look out to the stunning Saadiyat beach and the Arabian Gulf.
Taste of Southeast Asia
The award-winning Pan Asian restaurant hosts a special culinary festival bringing the best and finest flavors from Southeast Asian cuisine to Abu Dhabi up until January 2020. A guest chef will visit the venue from St. Regis properties in Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and Vietnam and serve a special menu throughout his stay.
In October, guests are invited to come and experience the authentic taste of Malaysia. Chef Mohamed Rasit is flown in from The St. Regis Kuala Lumpur for the first leg of the festival – Taste of Malaysia – to stimulate your taste-buds with traditional laksa, curry and spicy noodles.
