Ting Irie Abu Dhabi, the Jamaican restaurant and lounge nestled in the heart of Mamsha Al Saadiyat, has launched its ‘JamRock Brunch’, a weekly event where guests can enjoy vibrant Afro-Caribbean tunes while savouring authentic Jamaican cuisine. Attendees can enjoy vibey performances from live bands and DJs mixing Afro-beats and Hip hop, every week all summer long. The brunch will take place every Saturday from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the restaurant’s revamped indoor speakeasy and will feature the talented UAE-based band – Billu& the Brownies, bringing their groovy award-winning sounds to the stage twice every month.
The JamRock brunch menu offers a variety of delicious island-inspired dishes for guests to indulge in. Appetizers include classic Jamaican Patties, authentic Callaloo & Salt Fish Cups, crispy Shrimp Tostones and smoky Roast Corn. For the main course, diners can feast on favourites such as Ackee & Salt Fish, Curried Chicken, and Oxtail and Beans. Accompaniments include fragrant Coconut Rice, sweet Roasted Plantains and fluffy Festivals, and diners can end their meals with scrumptious Banana Raisin Bread for dessert.
Guests can expect an exciting mix of live Afro-Caribbean music, with Billu& the Brownies performing every alternate week followed by DJs mixing Afro-beats and hip-hop tunes keep the crowds busy. Other live bands will keep the crowd entertained during the other weeks as well.
